Huntsville Public School’s school council is pivoting from our community wide fundraising event, Eco-Fest, to hosting a Spring BBQ for the HPS school community.
The funds that came from Eco-Fest have been used in the past for larger purchases like the equipment shed in the lower playground and lighting for the stage. We also secured a new fridge for the breakfast club program. Annually we give money for year end school trips, teacher requests, and graduation.
We are still going to have a free clothing/book giveaway, face painting, basket table, can/bottle return drive and BBQ.
Funds from BBQ purchases and basket ticket sales will be used for outdoor equipment and music program needs.
