On September 27, Lindsay Collegiate and Vocational Institute (LCVI) hosted the second annual Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) Special Olympics Track and Field.
The event brought secondary students from Fenelon Falls Secondary School and LCVI currently enrolled in the Practical Academics and Life Skills (PALS) program together for a day of friendly competition and physical activity.
Competitions taking place throughout the day included the 100 and 200 metre relay race, standing long jump, and javelin. Students who placed are put through to the Provincial Special Olympics qualifier event.
