We are excited to announce that Huntsville Public will once again be taking part in the Terry Fox School Run, on Friday September 13th. Our annual “Terry Trek ” supports cancer research while also building incredible school spirit. Let’s all show the great strength and resiliency of our school community by supporting the legacy of one of our greatest Canadian heroes, Terry Fox.
The Terry Fox Foundation has created an online fundraising page for our school. Here are some of the ways you can support your child for this year’s “Terry Trek”:
Option 1: Donate online at: https://schools.terryfox.ca/HuntsvillePS
- There is no minimum donation, every dollar counts!
- Receipts are issued immediately to donors by email
Option 2: Help your child set up a student fundraising page – you do this by joining our school run and clicking “set up a personal page”
- Upload personal photos, videos and messages to share with friends and family
- All student logins and links are private and secure
Option 3: Send your child with a “Toonie for Terry” on race day.
Our school has been a strong supporter of the Terry Fox foundation for many years. We are very excited to raise a lot of money for cancer research again this year.
